The family members of Miraj Hossain and Md. Ismail Hossain Rabbi, who were killed in the student uprising, met Md. Nahid Islam, adviser to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Secretariat on Wednesday. During the meet up, father of martyr Miraj broke down in tears while describing his son's death on August 5. An emotional situation erupted in the office when he showed his son's blood-stained shirt to the adviser. At that time, the adviser hugged Miraj's father and comforted him.

Martyr Ismail Hossain Rabbi's sister requested not to do the post-mortem of her brother and said that they cannot file a case without getting the death certificate from the hospital without the post-mortem. Adviser Nahid Islam assured cooperation in any matter if they sought the intervention of the adviser in the inclusion of his brother's name in the list of martyrs.

Nahid Islam said, names of all the martyrs and injured will be included in the list, in this case the tasks will be easier after the establishment of the July Martyrs Memorial Foundation office for them.
